“ Kill Bill Volume 1 is a 2003 action thriller film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It is the first of two volumes that were theatrically released several months apart, the second volume being Kill Bill Volume 2.
Kill Bill was originally scheduled for a single theatrical release, but with a running time of over four hours, it was separated into two volumes. Kill Bill: Volume 1 was released in late 2003, and Kill Bill: Volume 2 was released in early 2004 - though the two films are frequently referred to collectively as simply "Kill Bill."
The volumes follow a character known as "The Bride", a former assassin who seeks revenge on still-active colleagues who massacre members of her wedding party and try to kill her. The movie is often noted for its stylish direction and its homages to film genres such as Hong Kong martial arts films, Japanese chanbara films, Italian spaghetti westerns, girls with guns, and rape and revenge. ” - lankalion

I absolutely LOVE this list. I've always wished there was a list of rape/revenge films because I thoroughly enjoy watching justice be served severely by women in these types of situations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now, I'm curious as to how you chose your films. Are you going to add more? And if so, will you be adding "Descent" (2007), "Teeth" (2007), & "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" (2009)?
I really love Rosario Dawson & loved her all the more for doing such a daring role as she did…

Help! I need to find the title of a boring rape-revenge movie I saw a while ago. The setting is college or university campus, I believe the girl was black. She was raped by a white guy she had dinner with. After a long sequence of boring trivialities she had her revenge at the end of the movie were she tricked him into letting him get tied up and then let a black friend of hers rape him. Anybody know the title of this flick?

Do revenge committed by men count too? If yes, Law Abiding Citizen would fit this list, as the movie involves rape, murder and revenge.
The Last House On The Left remake is also missing from your list.
Cheers.

Dude by any chance that you are from sri lankan or be a sri lankan, i am just guessing it by your user name, anyways if you are not, sorry, by the way, this is an awesome list, :) thanks a lot for all your lists :)) If you can, add "Death Sentence" starring Kevin Beacon, i think it's an awesome revenge film too.

@ ''nofacemonster'' yes im sri lankan at the movement live in Dubai, yes i agree with you ''Death Sentence'' awesome revenge film but i can't add to this list coz this list is named as a ''rape and revenge'' but from your encouragement i have got idea to make new list named ''best of revenge films'' and for sure your suggestion will be top of the list, thanks for the valuable comments, keep in touch!

which one do you think is better of I spit on your grave, the original or the 2010 remake?

if you compare original and remake, remake has special effect, sound and more violence but for me frankly, i enjoy more remake one than original! thanks for the checking on my list ''jurjenfeenstra''
